Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU Travel Position
Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (18:45 - 07:15)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: Yes
Call Requirements: No
Unit and Patient Information
- NICU unit with 25 beds plus overflow on pediatric floor
- Patient ratios vary by acuity, typically:
- 3 feeders
- 2 CPAP
- 1 nitric oxide
- 1 cooling
- Patient type: Level 3 NICU infants
- EMR system: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arkansas
- Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- Experience working with infant patients
- Experience working with high-risk patients
Preferred Qualifications
- STABLE certification
Additional Information
- Possible float to mother-baby or pediatrics units, though unlikely due to high census
- Dress code: Black scrubs required
- No call responsibilities
