OT Pediatrics (Outpatient) - Travel/Contract Position

Location: Jacksonville, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8 hours)
Hours per Week: 40 hours

Job Summary

• Pediatric Occupational Therapist position in an outpatient setting.
• Must have pediatric experience.
• Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs.
• Block schedule requests can be discussed with management.
• Local candidates accepted without radius restrictions.
• No on-call required.
• Return to office (RTO) ideally no more than 5 days.

Facility Information

• Critical Access hospital with Magnet designation.
• Total staffed beds: 25.
• Charting system: Cerner.
• Parking permit required but no cost.
• Scrub color: Any solid color.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Pediatric Occupational Therapist license in Illinois.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist.
• Recent experience working with pediatric patients within the last year.

Additional Requirements

• Valid/current U.S. driver’s license or state ID.
• Badge photo required within one week of contract signing.
• Review and sign Code of Conduct within 7 days of contract signing.
• Parking permit form may be required depending on transportation method.
• Fingerprinting through Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry required for clinical candidates without an Illinois state license; must be completed in Illinois 3 business days prior to start.

Notes

• Candidates may be called off up to 36 hours during the 13-week assignment without penalty.
• Facility can accommodate latex allergies.
• Not required for non-clinical or remote candidates: fingerprinting, some health documents, drug testing, and immunizations.
