Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract
Location: Colville, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital (25 staffed beds, no trauma)
Charting System: Epic

Job Details

- Weekend work required every other weekend.

Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Washington.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner experience within the last year.
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, confirming ability to work and free of infectious disease.
- Background check within 90 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually.
- Drug screen (9-panel) within 12 months of start; instant tests acceptable if paired with attestation.
- Immunizations and health screenings required:
- TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual updates required)
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
- COVID-19 vaccination record preferred (declinations not required)
- Respirator clearance (RespSafety) required annually for travel candidates.
- Fit mask test required for travel candidates, updated annually.
References & Employment History
- Minimum of 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting.
- Employment application covering at least the last 5 years required.
- Skills checklist must be current and updated annually.
