Description
Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract
Location
- Prosser, Washington
Employment Type

- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Mostly night shifts (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Some mid shifts as needed
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call required
- Floating within scope as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
- Experience working with all age groups including Neonate, Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients
Facility Requirements
- Locals allowed
- No radius restriction
- First-time travelers accepted
- Block scheduling negotiable during interview
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Proof of I9 or attestation
- Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
- E-Verify proof or attestation
- Background check: 7-year criminal history check within 30 days of start, updated annually, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; includes SS trace, counties, nationwide, sex offender, Facis level 3, WSP WATCH search, and education verification
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals/extensions
- Education verification required
- Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands, updated annually
- Fit mask (N95) required
- Immunizations and titers required or documentation of vaccination/declination for:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (updated annually)
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant acceptable)
- Flu vaccine preferred (can decline and wear a mask)
- Proof of 2 clinical references (hospital evaluations accepted)
- Complete employment application/resume
- Skills checklist updated annually for applicable unit
- Performance evaluation if worked with the organization over 1 year; internal evaluation if over 2 years
Additional Washington State Requirements (if applicable)
- For RNs or LPNs using a multi-state license in Washington, suicide prevention training and demographic attestation may be required (not applicable to RRTs)
