Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Afternoons
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a 14-bed Operating Room unit with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
Utilize robotics equipment including DaVinci Xi, Mako, and Rosa systems.
Expected work hours: 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
Call back and on-call opportunities available with additional compensation.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 24 months experience in the Operating Room.
Proficient experience with DaVinci robotics.
Proficient experience in orthopedic surgery including total joint procedures.
Proficient experience in general surgery.
Experience with EPIC EMR system.
Travel experience within the previous 15 months is required.
Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license at time of submission.
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Valid driver’s license.
Skills checklist specific to Operating Room nursing discipline.
Professional references from within the last 24 months preferred.

Additional Information

Scrub experience is a plus but not required.
Orientation dates available prior to start.
Pre-screening interview conducted via phone call/text from a 405 area code.
