Job Opportunity: Lactation Consultant

Location: Mount Holly, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Floating assignment across 5 hospitals within skillset.
Support patients in Labor & Delivery (L&D), Mother-Baby Unit (MBU), Special Care Nursery (SCN), Pediatrics consults, Emergency Department (ED) mothers, and Med Surg units.
Block scheduling is not allowed.
Holidays and weekends required on a rotating basis with staff.
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM).

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Minimum 1 year of experience as an educator, with educator experience within the last year.
Lactation RN experience.
Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
