Physical Therapist (Travel) - Alabama, Northport

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
• Schedule: One weekend required per month; holidays as required
• Patient Load: Approximately 6 patients per day
• Work Setting: Inpatient and acute care units
• Floating: Must be willing to float to different units
• Patient Population: Geriatric, neurological, stroke, and amputation patients
• Patient Facing: Yes
• Onsite Requirement: Physical presence onsite is essential

Responsibilities

• Complete all aspects of care for assigned patients including evaluations, plan of care formulation, therapeutic interventions, education, and documentation
• Collaborate with patients, families, and other disciplines to coordinate care plans

Required Qualifications

Education & Licensure

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy
• Valid Physical Therapist license in Alabama

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year

Certifications

• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
