Radiation Therapist Travel/Contract Job - Fort Collins, Colorado

Position Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts

  • Shift options: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Work Location: Outpatient radiation oncology center
• Floating: May float to sister facility as needed
• Scrub Color: Grey or Steel

Required Qualifications

• Radiation Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
• ARRT (Therapy) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required

Required Documentation & Compliance

• I9 or Attestation
• Driver’s License/State ID (clear copies front/back)
• E-Verify or Attestation
• Proof of legal name change if applicable
• 7-year background check including SSN trace, Colorado state checks, education verification, and other standard screenings
• Employment and work history verification for the last 3 years (gaps >30 days must be explained)
• 2 professional references from the last 2 years (one from the last year), from charge RN, manager, or supervisor level
• Colorado CAPS check within 60 days of start
• Compliance with facility-specific onboarding and training modules within first two weeks

Certifications & Competencies

• Annual competency exams including medication/pharmacology, dysrhythmia/EKG, OSHA mandatory, and core parts I-III (must score at least 80%)
• Annual physical exam signed by MD, DO, NP, or PA (not Chiropractor)
• Fit mask test within 12 months of start and updated annually (specific approved mask models required)
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or signed declination)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with annual updates if positive)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination
  • Hepatitis B immunity or vaccination series or declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • COVID-19 vaccination proof or signed declination (acceptable vaccines: AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna)
• Drug testing within 30 days of start and annually thereafter (specific drug panel required)
• Color blindness testing via Ishihara exam (online testing not accepted for new candidates)

Additional Notes

• Candidates must confirm renewal plans for any certifications expiring within 90 days of assignment start to avoid clearance issues
• Onsite fit testing and PAPR testing options available if needed
• Candidates with employment gaps of 15+ days are considered new and must meet full background and compliance requirements
• No weekend or on-call shifts required for this position
