Description
Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehab (Travel/Contract)
Location: South Bend, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation (Physical Therapist)
- Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday (5x8 hours)
- Typical start times: 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 8:30 AM
- Work schedule includes 1 weekend in every 3 weeks (with flexing off during the week to maintain 40 hours)
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Patient ratio: 1 therapist to 6 patients
- Floating: May be required to float within scope to acute care as needed
- Must live at least 50 miles away from the facility (locals not accepted)
- Charting system: Cerner
- Scrub color: Gray
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Indiana
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA only)
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience is not required
- Block scheduling accommodation available (Monday-Friday)
- Fit mask test preferred but not required for this location
- Employment application required prior to start
This position offers a structured day schedule with a consistent patient load and requires flexibility to float to acute care units as needed. Candidates must meet licensure and certification requirements and complete comprehensive health and background screenings before starting.
