Shift: Night (5 shifts per week, 8 hours each, 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

Job Description

• Position involves working as an X-Ray Technician in a radiology/cardiology setting.
• Night shift coverage required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Proof of I-9 or attestation.
• Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service).
• E-Verify proof or attestation.
• Background checks including:

  • 7-year criminal history check updated annually, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years.
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals/extensions.
  • Education verification (primary source) required.
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start (no annual update required). Medical marijuana card not accepted.
• Physical exam within last 12 months.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start, updated annually. TB questionnaire required if past positive TB.
• Immunizations/vaccinations required:

  • Measles (Rubeola): 2 vaccines or positive titer; exemptions for candidates born before 1957.
  • Mumps: 2 vaccines or positive titer; exemptions for candidates born before 1957.
  • Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer; exemptions for candidates born before 1957.
  • Hepatitis B: Titer, vaccine series, or declination accepted.
  • Varicella: 2 vaccines, titer, or history of chickenpox.
  • Seasonal Influenza vaccine required during flu season (10/31–3/31); medical/religious exemptions allowed but no declinations.
  • COVID-19 vaccination: 2 doses Pfizer or Moderna OR 1 dose Johnson & Johnson required; no declinations allowed; boosters not required at this time. Medical/religious exemptions require agency-approved documentation.
• Completion of facility-specific online training modules prior to start (must be done on a computer using Google Chrome; includes COVID documentation submission).
• Signed orientation safety manual acknowledgment (HIPAA form or core testing).
• Competency exam as applicable to specialty.
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint results per state requirements.

• Radiation badges will be issued by the facility to applicable candidates.
• Skills checklist for the applicable unit must be updated annually.

This position requires strict adherence to all credentialing, compliance, and health documentation protocols prior to start and throughout the contract duration.
