Radiation Therapist - Travel/Contract

Location: Huntersville, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Work directly in an adult outpatient clinic specializing in radiology/cardiology treatments.
• No orientation or dimensions required; start immediately in the clinic.
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (40 hours/week).
• No call, float, or weekend requirements.
• Patient population: Adults with benign diseases and cancer diagnoses.
• Special procedures include SRS (stereotactic radiosurgery) and SBRT (stereotactic body radiation therapy).
• Approximately 99% outpatient visits; average daily census and visits around 25.
• Work with 1 treatment room and a 1:1 patient ratio.

Required Skills & Experience

• Valid Radiation Therapist license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (T) certification required
• Experience in an outpatient setting
• Proficient with ARIA and True Beam treatment units
