Registered Nurse (Rehab) - Travel Position

Location: Northport, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in a rehabilitation setting, working with patients recovering from stroke, hip fracture, pulmonary conditions, and other rehab needs.
• Participate as part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on improving patients' functional ability and independence.
• Patients receive 24-hour medical monitoring and care, with daily provider rounds.
• Rehab equipment includes body weight support systems, treadmills, Dynavision machine, and simulation vehicle for functional training.
• Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
• Work schedule includes 36 or 48 hours per week, every other weekend, and holidays as required.
• Solid navy scrub dress code.
• Patient-facing role, not remote.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: Meditech.
• Parking available.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
• Current AHA BLS or Red Cross CPR certification.

• Must be willing to float between units and hospitals.
• Position requires clinical, patient-facing work.
