Physical Therapist - Outpatient (Travel/Contract)

Location: Salina, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Weekends: Not required

Job Description

• Hybrid role covering both acute care and outpatient settings.
• Acute care duties include patient care in ICU, cardiac step-down unit, general medical and surgical floors.
• Outpatient duties include work in a typical outpatient PT clinic with specialties such as concussion therapy, pelvic floor therapy, and heavy orthopedics.
• Responsibilities include mobility and crutch training on the day of surgery in the ambulatory unit and therapy services at a nearby surgery center.
• Outpatient neuro patients are part of a multidisciplinary care team.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Kansas (compact license accepted; pending Kansas license acceptable if process started upon offer acceptance)
• Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• Experience in both Acute Care and Outpatient settings (home health experience not accepted)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
