Description

Physical Therapist - Outpatient (Travel/Contract)

Location: Salina, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Weekends: Not required

Job Description

Hybrid role covering both acute care and outpatient settings.
Acute care duties include patient care in ICU, cardiac step-down unit, general medical and surgical floors.
Outpatient duties include work in a typical outpatient PT clinic with specialties such as concussion therapy, pelvic floor therapy, and heavy orthopedics.
Responsibilities include mobility and crutch training on the day of surgery in the ambulatory unit and therapy services at a nearby surgery center.
Outpatient neuro patients are part of a multidisciplinary care team.

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Kansas
Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year
Experience in both Acute Care and Outpatient settings
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
