Description

Registered Nurse (MS/Telemetry) - Travel/Contract

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Contract Length: 16 weeks

Job Details

Mixed acuity unit caring for Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Medical-Surgical (MS) patients
12-hour rotating shifts (days, nights, or combination) based on department needs
Shift assignments reviewed every 4 weeks; changes not guaranteed
Patient ratio approximately 1:5
Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
First week orientation: Monday to Friday, dayshift
Second week orientation: 36 hours on-unit with a preceptor
Self-scheduling of shift preferences prior to final schedule posting

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Tracheostomy management skills
