Occupational Therapist (Inpatient Rehab) - Missouri

Job Details

• Location: Hannibal, Missouri
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
• Weekend Rotation: Saturday rotation required; if worked, a weekday off is given to maintain 40 hours/week
• Setting: Inpatient rehabilitation/acute care
• Open to local candidates (no radius restrictions)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Missouri

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Unexpired government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license or state ID)
• E-Verify compliance
• Background checks within 45 days of start, including:

  • Social Security trace and county searches for last 7 years
  • Nationwide and sex offender registry checks
  • Education verification
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks prior to start
• Education verification of highest level achieved
• National certification verification prior to start and upon expiration (as applicable)
• Primary source verification of Missouri OT license prior to start and upon expiration
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Immunizations and health screenings:

  • Tdap vaccine (updated every 10 years; declinations accepted)
  • Negative TB test (PPD, Q Gold, or T-Spot) within 1 year or chest X-ray within 5 years if positive PPD
  • Annual TB questionnaire if applicable
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
  • Hepatitis B: series, titer, or declination accepted
  • Varicella: 2 vaccines, titer, or history of chickenpox
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declining during flu season)
  • COVID-19 vaccination card or approved exemption letter
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug test within 45 days of start (instant acceptable) covering amphetamines, benzodiazepines, cocaine, marijuana metabolite, opiates, oxycodone, phencyclidine
• Signed acknowledgment of orientation safety manual and Joint Commission training (updated annually)
• Skills checklist and work history verification for past 7 years
• Two professional references within 3 years of hire
• Missouri-specific electronic driver’s license search results required
