Description

Interventional Radiology Tech (Endovascular Tech) - Travel/Contract

Location: Dayton, Ohio
Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work schedule includes 4 ten-hour shifts per week with flexible scheduling options and compressed workweeks if possible.
  • Call requirement:
    • One full weekend call shift per month (Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM).
    • Typically, the Friday and Monday of the weekend call are off.
    • Weekday call shifts occur 1-2 days per week except during the weekend call week.
    • Total of 7-8 call shifts per month including weekends.
  • Additional time-off flexibility is approved to support work-life balance.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Ohio
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, with experience within the last year
  • ARRT RT (R) registry
  • Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Radiologic Technology

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

  • Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
  • E-Verify compliance required
  • Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG screenings
  • Education verification (primary source)
  • Physical exam within 2 years indicating fitness for work
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray; annual TB questionnaire if past positive TB
  • Drug screening: Negative 9 or 10 panel drug screen within 12 months, including marijuana panel
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
  • Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year, renewed annually
  • References: 2 professional references within 2 years (1 must be a manager/supervisor)
  • Current resume or employment application
  • Skills checklist updated within 1 year
  • Unit-specific competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency exam as required

Additional Notes

  • Fingerprinting is not required for this position.
  • Call shifts require availability evenings and weekends as described.
  • Candidate must comply with all facility-specific health and safety protocols.
  • Certifications must be current and valid at the time of start.
