RN Charge/Supervisor - Nursing Administration (Travel Assignment)

Location: Lander, Wyoming
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36


Job Summary

  • Oversee day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care area.
  • Direct, develop, and manage nursing staff including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance evaluation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
  • Maintain nursing operational and financial standards, including budgeting and productivity monitoring.
  • Develop and update nursing policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with state board of nursing regulations and standards of care.
  • Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
  • Promote patient independence through education and counseling.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and compliant work environment, including infection control and medication administration protocols.
  • Manage nursing supplies and equipment inventory.
  • Participate in professional development and maintain current clinical knowledge.
  • Foster cooperative relationships within healthcare teams and contribute to organizational goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Wyoming
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum 2 years of House Supervisor experience in a hospital setting, including experience within the last year
  • Experience in supervisory roles
  • ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • NRP certification
  • TNCC certification
