Job Opportunity: CVICU Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Unit: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (3x12's)

  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Shift rotation may be adjusted based on hospital operational needs
• Must work at least every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Minimum 1.5 years of CVICU experience
• CVICU experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Orientation & Onboarding

• Completion of facility-specific online training modules prior to start (must be done on a computer using Google Chrome)
• Modules include mandatory training videos and tests; skipping videos will lock out access
• Baseline competency exams (medication and ECG) completed during orientation
• Photo for badge required (headshot, shoulders up, white background)
• Must complete Qualivis – Lotus system for submitting hours worked

Additional Notes

• Candidates must carry a government-issued photo ID at all times during assignment
• Travelers must be prepared for possible shift rotation to meet operational needs
• Fingerprinting will be conducted both through the agency and onsite at the facility
• Candidates with latex allergies must notify to ensure availability of latex-free gloves
• Medical and religious exemptions for vaccines and fit mask are accepted but require agency and facility approval
• Flu vaccine documentation must be submitted by November 30th for current candidates and upon onboarding for new candidates; no declinations accepted
• Candidates with a break in employment longer than 6 months at this facility may need to retake orientation modules and competency exams
