X-Ray Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Portland, Oregon
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Shift: Day shift, Friday through Monday, 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM (4x10 hour shifts)
  • On-call: Yes, 3 shifts per month
  • Block schedules required
  • No floating between units
  • Weekends not required
  • Facility type: Short Term Acute Care
  • Total staffed beds: 536

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiology Technologist license in Oregon
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
  • Experience as an X-Ray Technician

Additional Requirements

  • Float policy acknowledgement (may be required to float to other nearby facilities)
  • Passport-style badge photo with neutral background required
  • Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp), except not required for X-Ray Tech specialty for regional specialty modules
  • Epic training modules completion required
  • Color blindness testing if specifically requested by the unit
  • Skills checklist updated annually if applicable
  • WA State Patrol and other state-specific background checks as required for border or Washington placements

Experience
