Job Description
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explain processes, answer questions, and provide physical support.
- Position patients and equipment to capture high-quality images such as X-rays, mammograms, or CT scans.
- Apply, monitor, and maintain radiation safety regulations and shielding to minimize exposure.
- Review images for technical quality and accuracy.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and images.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to determine necessary imaging procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician.
Additional Information
- No special scheduling requirements.
- Orientation for allied travelers starts on Tuesdays.
- Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate.
- On-call pay applies with a minimum of 1 hour.
- Non-compete policy: Former direct employees are not eligible to return through an agency until 6 months after direct employment ends.
