Description

NICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

Location: Midland, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36


Job Description

  • Floating may be required to Mother Baby, Labor & Delivery (L&D), and Pediatrics areas.
  • 3 years of NICU experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
  • Self-scheduling is available.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
  • Minimum of 3 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, with NICU experience within the last year
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

  • Education verification and highest level of education documentation required.
  • References: 2 references within 3 years of start required.
  • Employment application or resume required.
  • Orientation and safety manual acknowledgment required and must be updated annually.
