Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work primarily in Med Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit settings.
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Orientation sessions available on scheduled dates.

Work Schedule & Hours

• 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Can work up to 48 hours per week; overtime billable after 48 hours.
• Night shift with 12-hour shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for Iowa.
• Minimum 2 years of step-down nursing experience required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Work history/resume.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
• License verification.
• Copies of required certifications.
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
• Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
