Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical/Telemetry) - Long-Term Assignment

Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry care for a night shift long-term assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Connecticut
• Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Cardiology experience

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

• Verification of all licenses and certifications dated within 30 days of start.
• Completion of specialty-specific competency testing within the last year.
• Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors.
• Signed forms including:

  • Code of Conduct
  • Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure
  • Integrity and Audit Services Form (signed shortly before start)
• Background checks:

  • Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start.
  • EPLS, OIG, NSO, and OFAC screenings dated within 30 days of start.
• Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma.
• Trinity system access form completed and uploaded one week before start.
• CORE exam (Joint Commission testing) within the last year.

Additional Information

• This is a long-term assignment (LTA) lasting approximately 12 weeks.
• Night shift hours are from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• The role involves direct patient care in a medical/surgical telemetry unit.
