Description

Physical Therapist - Contract Position

Location: Lewiston, Maine
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Varied

Job Description

Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
Perform evaluative and therapeutic procedures under physician or authorized healthcare provider orders, observing all precautions and contraindications.
Evaluate and treat patients according to department protocols.
Establish therapeutic plans of care with long- and short-term goals.
Collaborate with patients and healthcare providers to maximize patients' functional abilities and independence.

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Maine
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
Physical Therapist experience within the last year
Bachelor's degree
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Information

Up to 16 hours of orientation provided, unpaid.
Employer reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract.
