Description
Physical Therapist - Contract Position
Location: Lewiston, Maine
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Varied
Job Description
- Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
- Perform evaluative and therapeutic procedures under physician or authorized healthcare provider orders, observing all precautions and contraindications.
- Evaluate and treat patients according to department protocols.
- Establish therapeutic plans of care with long- and short-term goals.
- Collaborate with patients and healthcare providers to maximize patients' functional abilities and independence.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Maine
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- Bachelor's degree
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Additional Information
- Up to 16 hours of orientation provided, unpaid.
- Employer reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract.
