Registered Nurse – Endoscopy
Location: Washington, District of Columbia

Job Overview
- Dual role: Preoperative nurse (IV initiation, assessment, patient education) and circulating nurse in the endoscopy suite
- Patient ratios:
- Preoperative: 1:3
- Endoscopy circulating nurse: 1:1
- Float between like units required
- On-call: Not required
- Block schedule accommodation: Yes
- Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in District of Columbia
- Minimum 2 years of endoscopy experience, including experience within the last year
- One completed travel nursing assignment
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers not accepted (prior travel experience required)
- Candidate must complete facility-specific forms including new hire paperwork, position description acknowledgement, and any applicable vaccine declination or exemption forms
- Parking and transportation details should be planned in advance for first day
- Candidate must be prepared to float between similar units as needed
