Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Nights)
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Patient types include Cardiac, Trauma, and Neuro.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
- Orientation sessions available on scheduled dates throughout the year.
Schedule & Hours
- 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
- 48 hours per week, with overtime billable after 48 hours.
- Night shift with 12-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI certifications required.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Iowa (Compact license allowed).
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- First-time travelers are welcome (prior travel experience not required).
Additional Information
- Night shift differential and holiday pay apply (multipliers not specified here).
- Call back and on-call pay available (details not included).
- Charge nurse and preceptor pay available.
This position is ideal for an experienced ICU RN looking for a temporary night shift assignment with a variety of critical care patients and the opportunity to work across multiple campuses.
