Description

Medical Physicist - Travel/Contract

Location: Fort Collins, Colorado
Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

Responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy to patients.
Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists to design and implement treatment plans.
Calibrate, maintain, and perform quality assurance (QA) testing on radiation treatment equipment.
Support treatment plan development and review, ensuring accuracy and compliance with clinical protocols.
Supervise special procedures such as SRS/SBRT treatment sessions and brachytherapy.
Participate in professional development, clinical projects, and quality/process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in Medical Physics, Physics, Radiation Biology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physicist.
Physicist experience within the last year.
