Description

Sonographer (Echo) – Temp Position

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Shift: Days
Hours per day: 8
Contract length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide professional and clinical sonography services as part of an interdisciplinary team.
May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Perform approximately 7-8 scans per day.
Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
Required to work 1-2 of the following summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.
Orientation scheduled for May 26–27 and June 8–9.
Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular & Vascular Sonographer experience.
Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract.
Active Iowa license at time of submission.
Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certifications.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Valid driver’s license.
Skills checklist specific to Cardiovascular & Vascular Sonographer discipline.
Preferred: Professional reference or performance evaluation within the last 24 months.

Additional Information

Night and weekend call-back and on-call pay multipliers apply (details not included here).
May be asked to float within the sonography discipline across local campuses.
