Description

Cath Lab Technologist (Temporary)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Shift: Days (8-hour shifts)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work in a complete Cath Lab performing cardiac and peripheral procedures including:
    • Left and Right Heart Catheterization
    • PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy
    • Carotid diagnostic and stenting
    • Peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
    • Pacemaker insertion, Tilt Table Test, Kyphoplasty
    • AV graft diagnostic, stent, and thrombectomy
  • Rotate between scrubbing and circulating during procedures, including operating X-ray equipment
  • Use specialized devices such as Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices
  • Work with Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and McKesson CPACS, Cardiology, and Hemodynamic Systems
  • Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care, transport, inventory management, and billing
  • Rotate call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recent travel experience in Cath Lab roles preferred

Additional Information

  • On-call rotation includes evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Candidates within 50 miles of the facility may be considered local
  • Orientation for allied travelers starts on Tuesdays

Summary

This temporary Cath Lab Technologist position requires a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience and appropriate certifications (RCIS, BLS). The role involves working day shifts with call rotation and performing a wide range of cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures using advanced imaging and device technology. Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.
