Registered Nurse – PCU (Akron, Ohio)

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Job Description

Provide nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown setting.
Work every other holiday.
Night shift schedule with 3 twelve-hour shifts per week.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio.
Minimum 1.5 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, with experience within the last year.
Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Knowledge and certification in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
