Description

Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

Location: Dayton, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (4 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Job Overview

Work on a mixed acuity unit caring for advanced care level patients, including those on advanced drips.
Experience with advanced care or step-down units preferred.
Target patient ratios typically 1:4, but may be as high as 1:5-6.
Unit may use a team nursing model partnering RNs, LPNs, and PCTs, or primary nursing depending on unit needs.
Floating required to all Stepdown/Advanced Care units within the hospital system. Floating may include multiple nearby campuses within 15 miles.
Must be available to work every other weekend and holidays.
No local candidates accepted; no travel partners allowed.
No block scheduling; 36 or 48-hour shifts accepted (OT paid after 48 hours).
No more than 7 days of Return to Office (RTO) will be approved.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience, including telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS certification
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Stepdown experience
