Staff Pharmacist - Nights

Location: Lancaster, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: 7 nights on / 7 nights off, Thursday night - Wednesday night, 8:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36

Job Summary

• Provide pharmaceutical care including monitoring, evaluation, and assurance of medication quality.
• Dispense medications and process medication orders accurately.
• Communicate drug information to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Participate in drug therapy management during medical emergencies.
• Coordinate daily pharmacy technician activities to meet patient and departmental needs.
• Perform duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Pharmacist license in Ohio
• Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience within the last year

Physical and Work Environment

• Medium physical demand: lifting up to 20-50 pounds occasionally.
• Work requires analytical abilities, memory, problem-solving, creativity, and effective communication.
• Potential exposure to electrical equipment.
• No special protective equipment required.
