Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer - Travel/Contract

Location: Okatie, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 8 hours per day (7:45 AM – 4:30 PM), 40 hours per week
Call Requirement: None
Weekend Requirement: None
Float Requirement: Yes, floating between two clinic locations approximately 16.5 miles apart for 1-2 weeks during the assignment

Job Description

• No Return to Office (RTO) after booking allowed; call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation or Do Not Rehire status
• Orientation start date is subject to change based on trainer availability; travelers must be fully available with no other commitments during orientation week
• Missing any portion of orientation may delay or cancel the start date
• Interview with the manager is required before offer

Patient Population

• Adults and Geriatrics
• Adult outpatient setting

Procedures & Equipment

• Standard echocardiograms
• Stress echocardiograms (including treadmill stress echo)
• Bubble studies
• Carotid, aorta, and abdominal imaging
• Use of GE ultrasound machines and treadmills

Staffing Ratios & Workload

• Patient ratio: 1 tech to 5 patients
• Average daily census: 10 patients
• Number of rooms/beds: 1

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Echo Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience in an outpatient setting
• BLS certification
• Prior travel experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Routine adult echo skills
• ACLS certification

Orientation

• Duration varies depending on experience and clinic needs

• Scrubs are not provided
• Candidates must provide interview availability within 72 hours to avoid delays in the approval process
