Radiation Therapist Travel/Contract Job in Charlottesville, Virginia
Job Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (or 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM depending on patient load)
- Hours: 40 hours per week, no weekends
- Work Locations: Ambulatory clinic near main hospital and an additional location about two miles away
- Holiday Schedule: Work every other holiday
- RTO: Up to 40 hours of released time off (RTO) can be approved
Job Description
- Work primarily in an outpatient radiation oncology center using Truebeam and ARIA charting system
- ARIA charting experience is required
- Prefer candidates with inpatient hospital experience but outpatient experience in radiation oncology is acceptable
- ARRT certification required for therapy
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in Virginia
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification for Radiation Therapy
