Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology (Days)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days (8 hours per day)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
May float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Work with oncology/hematology patients, including care involving Central Venous Access Devices (CVAD).
Use EPIC electronic medical record system.
Required to work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
Summer holiday work required for 1-2 of the following: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Iowa.
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
At least 1 prior travel nursing contract completed.
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
Valid driver’s license.
Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
Not employed by this health system within the last 12 months.

- Copies of required certifications
- One supervisory reference

Additional Information

Orientation dates available in late April and May.
Pay multipliers for overtime, holidays, call back, and on-call hours apply (details not included here).
