Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular

Location: Asheboro, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

• Outpatient setting.
• Candidates must be registered in both ECHO & VASCULAR; candidates with only RVS certification and Echo experience will be considered.
• Required to perform studies including Abdominal Aorta, Aorta, Arterial Graft Studies, Carotid, Color Flow, Doppler Studies, Duplex, Lower Extremity Arterial & Venous, M-Mode, Renal Artery Duplex, Transcranial Doppler, Upper Extremity Arterial & Venous.
• Experience with PACS and Philips systems.
• Use of EPIC electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ultrasound Technologist license in North Carolina.
• Minimum 1 year of Ultrasound Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credentials.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) credentials.
• Certification by ARDMS or CCI.
• Vascular Sonographer experience.
• Echo Technician experience.
