Job Description
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of licensure or under physician supervision, following established rules, regulations, and protocols.
- Administer emergency medications according to Wyoming State Scope of Practice for Paramedics.
- Perform complete, population-specific patient assessments, establish care priorities, and deliver appropriate care.
- Accurately document patient assessments and treatments using the state-mandated reporting system.
- Maintain ambulance and station cleanliness, stocking, and readiness at all times.
- Assist with medical treatment of patients in other departments under provider and RN direction, within scope of practice.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time, personnel, and resources to meet department goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Paramedic license in Wyoming
- Minimum 1 year of paramedic experience within the last year
- BLS certification
