Description

Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech Maternal Fetal

Location: Pinehurst, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with 30-minute lunch)
Hours per Week: 32 hours

Job Description

Must have at least 1 year of experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine, specifically working with high-risk patients.
Will be working directly with high-risk patients.

Required Certifications & Licenses

ARDMS-OB/GYN or ARRT(S) certification required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Trophon Certification required.

Required Qualifications

Valid Ultrasound Technologist license in North Carolina.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with experience within the last year.
ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients.
Experience working with high-risk patients.

Competencies & Exams

Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable.
Color Blind Testing required for all candidates.
Competency exams as applicable to specialty.
Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam required for specific units (noted but may not apply directly here).

Additional Requirements

Two clinical references required (one must be from a supervisor or higher; Charge RN acceptable).
Complete employment application/resume required.
Annual skills checklist required.
Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgment required annually.

Notes

Start date: ASAP
Modules related to the position will be provided after contract signing and must be completed prior to start.
This position involves working with high-risk maternal fetal patients during daytime hours, Tuesday through Friday.
