Job Opportunity: OR - Ambulatory Surgery/PACU RN

Location

Newport, Oregon

Duration: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

40 hours per week
Varying day shifts
Rotating weekends and holiday call required

Department Overview

Ambulatory Surgery providing preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care
Patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly
Procedures include outpatient total joints, DaVinci Robot-assisted surgeries, urology, ophthalmology, OB/GYN, general surgery, plastics, and endoscopy
Position involves pre-post PACU care in a busy critical access hospital
Requires autonomy and comfort with recovering C-sections

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in day surgery
Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license
Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
ACLS and PALS certifications required for Ambulatory Surgery PACU

Additional Notes

Must be able to work independently and handle rotational call for weekends and holidays
