Registered Nurse – Med Surg – Nights
Location: Portales, New Mexico
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a rural community acute care hospital setting.
- Night shift hours: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Typical patient ratio: 5:1.
- Tele-intensivist support available.
- Occasional charge nurse responsibilities.
- Pediatric admissions possible.
- Bilingual skills are helpful but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience, with recent Med Surg experience within the last year.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
- Experience in charge nurse roles.
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience is not required.
