Description
CVOR Technologist
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shifts: Rotating (days, evenings, nights)
- Call and weekends required (call can be weekday and/or weekend; weekends may include Friday, Saturday, or Sunday)
- Call response time: 30 minutes
- In-house call rooms available
Job Description
- Work primarily in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) with additional coverage in:
- General surgery
- Orthopedics
- Neurosurgery
- Vascular surgery
- Trauma
- Robotics
- Heart transplant
- LVAD procedures
- Scrubbing is not required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- One year or more of total travel experience
- Certified with NCCT or NBSTSA (no other certifications accepted)
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Experience with Cardiac Robotics, LVAD, and Heart Transplant procedures
- Experience covering Orthopedic, Neurology, and Vascular cases
Additional Information
- Strong experience with cardiac robotics, LVAD, and heart transplant procedures is essential
