Description
Mammography Technologist (Radiology / Cardiology) - Travel/Contract
Location: Pinehurst, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours/week) with rotating Saturday shifts
Schedule Flexibility: Hours may change if needed
Residency Restriction: Must not reside in Moore County
Job Description
- Perform mammography with 2-3 years of current 3D mammography experience required
- Experience in OR, Emergency Department, and portable radiology preferred
- Conduct stereotactic biopsies (2-5 per week)
- Perform screening/diagnostic mammograms (23+ per day)
- Perform Dexa scans (6-12 per day)
- Needle localizations or Savi Scout procedures (up to 5 per week, mostly under ultrasound guidance)
- Handle post-procedure specimens (approximately 61 per month)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
