Registered Nurse - CVICU/CCU Nights

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

Provide nursing care primarily in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) with coverage in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU).
Work in a smaller independent hospital setting serving the local community.
Facility includes 2 Cath Labs, one of which is a Hybrid Cath Lab.
Opportunity to work during the winter months in Colorado, near Vail and Aspen.

Shift Details

12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Weekend rotation required
Must participate in call rotation: 1 call shift every 2 weeks may replace guaranteed hours if staffing needs arise
Average 36 hours per week

Housing

Newly remodeled furnished studio and 1-bedroom apartments available nearby (half block from hospital)
Utilities, Wi-Fi, and on-site laundry included
No deposit required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Minimum 3 years of CVICU experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
