ICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job - Lubbock, Texas
Job Details
- Position: ICU Registered Nurse
- Location: Lubbock, Texas
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 14 weeks
- Shift: Evening (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Patient Ratio: 1:2 to 1:3
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-call: Not required
- Block Schedules: Not required
- Floating: Position floats between units

Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience in cardiac, neuro, general surgery, cardiology, and neurology care
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or proficiency
Additional Requirements
- Passport-style badge photo with neutral background required
- Must comply with facility dress code: solid navy blue uniforms or scrubs for licensed nursing personnel; print tops not allowed except in specific units
- Float policy acknowledgment required (may float to other nearby facilities)
- Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
- Background check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
- Education verification required for nursing degree; international education requires additional documentation
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable
- Physical and health documents must be current and uploaded as required

- 48-hour shifts are approved
