Description

Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer Travel Contract

Location: Bend, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Daily caseload: Approximately 10 patients
Patient population: Neonate through geriatric, inpatient and outpatient echo lab
Equipment commonly used: Philips Epiq, Merge PACS
On-call requirement: Yes, 7:30 AM – 7:00 AM rotating days and some weekends
Weekend requirement: Rotating weekends every 4th weekend with some flexibility
Floating: No floating within or to sister facilities
Local candidates: Not accepted (must live outside a 75-mile radius)
Pending state license: Accepted on a case-by-case basis
Return to office (RTO) restrictions: 7 total days allowed off in the 13-week assignment

Required Qualifications

Valid Cardiac Sonographer license in Oregon
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer, with experience within the last year
Certifications:
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Facility Requirements

Time-sensitive documents must be submitted within 48 hours of signing and no later than 2 Wednesdays prior to start, including:
- Passport-style photo for badge
- Confidentiality agreement
- Contractual and third-party access agreements
- Compliance and privacy program attestation
- Emergency contact form

Notes

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
No floating or coverage outside the primary facility
Strict local radius rule applies; proof of address required upon submission
