Description

Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer Travel Contract

Location: Bend, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
  • Daily caseload: Approximately 10 patients
  • Patient population: Neonate through geriatric, inpatient and outpatient echo lab
  • Equipment commonly used: Philips Epiq, Merge PACS
  • On-call requirement: Yes, 7:30 AM – 7:00 AM rotating days and some weekends
  • Weekend requirement: Rotating weekends every 4th weekend with some flexibility
  • Floating: No floating within or to sister facilities
  • Local candidates: Not accepted (must live outside a 75-mile radius)
  • Pending state license: Accepted on a case-by-case basis
  • Return to office (RTO) restrictions: 7 total days allowed off in the 13-week assignment

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cardiac Sonographer license in Oregon
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer, with experience within the last year
  • Certifications:
    • ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Facility Requirements

  • Time-sensitive documents must be submitted within 48 hours of signing and no later than 2 Wednesdays prior to start, including:
    • Passport-style photo for badge
    • Confidentiality agreement
    • Contractual and third-party access agreements
    • Compliance and privacy program attestation
    • Emergency contact form

Notes

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • No floating or coverage outside the primary facility
  • Strict local radius rule applies; proof of address required upon submission
