Description

Job Opportunity: MRI Tech

Location: Durham, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Schedule

  • Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Monday: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Total hours per week: 36 (3 shifts of 12 hours)

  • Adolescents
  • Adults
  • Geriatrics

Required Qualifications

  • Valid MRI Technologist license in North Carolina
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist, including experience within the last year
  • ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Experience with GE Healthcare MRI equipment

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Local candidates within 75 miles are also considered
  • Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly
  • Candidates must complete competency checklists within 3 weeks after start date
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Blue Card training provided onsite if needed

  • Candidates with less than a 30-day gap between previous assignments may have some document requirements waived or accepted on file
  • Drug testing and immunizations must be current and compliant with facility policies
  • Failure to complete required documentation or competency checklists on time may result in contract cancellation
  • Candidates should monitor email (including spam/junk folders) for guest account setup invitations and orientation details

This position offers a structured schedule with weekend and evening shifts, requiring specialized MRI experience and certifications, along with comprehensive compliance with health and background screening protocols.
