Location: Wichita Falls, Texas

Shift: Evening (5 days/week, 14:30 - 23:00)
Hours per Week: 40 hours (8 hours/day)
Work Days: Monday to Friday, no call

Job Description

• Must start between June 15 or June 29.
• Preferred experience with CT and diagnostic X-ray; candidates with strong X-ray experience and travel background will also be considered.
• Epic experience preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Texas.
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• X-Ray Technician experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
• E-Verify or Attestation.
• Background check within 1 year of start, including SS Trace, County searches (7 years), Nationwide, and Sex Offender registry.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start; must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract.
• Immunizations and health requirements (must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract unless otherwise noted):

  • TDAP vaccine within 10 years.
  • Negative TB test (2-step PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot) within 1 year; chest X-ray if positive PPD within 5 years.
  • Rubeola (Measles): 2 vaccines or positive titer; exemptions apply for candidates born before 1957.
  • Mumps: 2 vaccines or positive titer; exemptions apply for candidates born before 1957.
  • Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer; exemptions apply for candidates born before 1957.
  • Hepatitis B: Positive titer, series of 3, or declination accepted.
  • Varicella: 2 vaccines, positive titer, or history of chickenpox.
  • Seasonal Flu vaccine required between October 1 and May 31; medical or religious exemptions subject to facility review.
  • COVID vaccination documentation required.
• Drug testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 year; plan for completion within 72 hours of contract signing.
• References: 2 references within 3 years of start.
• Employment application or resume required.
• Skills checklist required and must be updated annually.

Additional Facility-Specific Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific forms and acknowledgments prior to start, including but not limited to:

  • Parking policy acknowledgment.
  • Health record forms.
  • Code of conduct and compliance.
  • Confidentiality statement.
  • Information system security agreement.
  • Orientation and safety manual acknowledgment.
  • Traveler orientation.
  • Hepatitis B declination if no positive titer on file.
• Flu medical or religious exemption forms if applicable.

Summary

This is a 13-week travel contract for an experienced X-Ray Tech with a minimum of 2 years in Radiology/Cardiology. The position requires specific licensure and certifications, strong preference for CT experience, and a comprehensive set of health and compliance documents. The role is Monday through Friday evenings with no call responsibilities. Prior travel experience is strongly preferred.
