Description

Occupational Therapist – Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation

Location: Twin Falls, Idaho
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (Tuesday to Friday)
Hours: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM with 30-minute lunch)
Weekly Hours: 37 hours guaranteed


Job Description

  • Provide occupational therapy services in an outpatient pediatric rehabilitation setting.
  • Treat approximately 9 pediatric patients per day.
  • Common patient diagnoses include developmental delays, cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, hydrocephalus, and other pediatric conditions.
  • No floating to inpatient units; work exclusively outpatient.
  • Collaborative, young, and fun team environment.
  • Department orientation includes a half-day orientation, one week with limited cases, and shadowing.
  • Business casual dress code with closed-toed shoes.
  • Flexibility and quick learning ability are important.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with a Master’s or Doctorate degree.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of pediatric occupational therapy experience.
  • Outpatient experience required.
  • First-time travel therapists are welcome to apply.

Additional Information

  • No weekend or holiday shifts required.
  • Radius rule: Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to be eligible.
  • The position offers a block schedule Monday through Friday, with shifts primarily Tuesday to Friday.
