Job Opportunity: Dialysis Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Evening (4 shifts per week, 10 hours each, 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

Provide nursing care in peritoneal dialysis in an outpatient setting.
Educate and train patients on peritoneal dialysis.
On-call responsibilities include:
- A 12-hour on-call shift every other Sunday.
- A 3-hour on-call shift approximately twice weekly following regular shifts.
Facility operates as a mandatory float environment.
Return to Office (RTO) policy:
- Maximum 5 days off with no more than 2 consecutive days.
- No RTO the day before or after a holiday.
- No RTO on weekends.
Scrubs of any color allowed; scrubs are not provided.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
Minimum 2 years of dialysis experience, including experience within the last year.
Experience in an outpatient setting.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
