Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
Location: Portland, Maine
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 17 weeks
Job Description
- Provide overnight ultrasound services for Emergency Department (ED) and inpatient units.
- Coverage is staffed by one sonographer per shift.
- Work schedule: 36 hours per week, 9-hour shifts, rotating 8 shifts on followed by 6 shifts off.
- Every other weekend required.
- Experience with both adult and pediatric imaging is needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including experience within the last year.
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required.
- Experience working with both adult and pediatric patients.
Additional Information
- Must have a replacement identified before the end of the current contract to allow for onboarding.
- Overnight shift coverage only.
