Description

Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer

Location: Portland, Maine
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 17 weeks

Job Description

Provide overnight ultrasound services for Emergency Department (ED) and inpatient units.
Coverage is staffed by one sonographer per shift.
Work schedule: 36 hours per week, 9-hour shifts, rotating 8 shifts on followed by 6 shifts off.
Every other weekend required.
Experience with both adult and pediatric imaging is needed.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including experience within the last year.
ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required.
Experience working with both adult and pediatric patients.

Additional Information

Must have a replacement identified before the end of the current contract to allow for onboarding.
Overnight shift coverage only.

Note: Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
